Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the HoloSnap mobile application ("HoloSnap" or "the App") and the getholosnap.com website, both owned and operated by Elemental Ridge Ltd., a company registered in the United Kingdom ("we" or "us"). Please read them carefully — by using the App you agree to be bound by them.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using the HoloSnap mobile application ("HoloSnap" or "the App"), or by using the getholosnap.com website — including registering an account or purchasing through web checkout — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App or the website. You must be at least 13 years old — or the age of digital consent in the place where you live, if higher — to use the App or the website.

2. About HoloSnap

HoloSnap lets you scan Pokémon Trading Card Game cards with your device camera and track their estimated market prices over time. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Account and security

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Prices are estimates

Card prices shown in HoloSnap are aggregated from third-party sources such as TCGplayer and Scrydex and reflect recent listings or sales. Prices are informational estimates only, not appraisals, offers, or financial advice. We are not responsible for transactions you enter into based on prices shown in the App.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose;
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute card images, prices, or other data from the App in bulk;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the App's functionality or the security of our systems;
• Use the App to harass, defraud, or impersonate any person.

6. Intellectual property

Pokémon and all related names, characters, logos, and card artwork are the property of Nintendo, Game Freak, and The Pokémon Company. HoloSnap is an independent fan tool and is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, TCGplayer, or any other rights holder. All third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

The HoloSnap app, brand, original code, and original content are owned by Elemental Ridge Ltd. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Subscriptions and purchases

HoloSnap offers an optional paid tier, HoloSnap Pro, available as an auto-renewing subscription — currently a Weekly plan and a Yearly plan — or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. The price and the length of each billing period are shown at the point of purchase. An auto-renewing subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it — for App Store purchases, at least 24 hours before the current period ends; for purchases made on the getholosnap.com website, any time before the renewal date from the subscription portal in the app (Profile > Manage Subscription) or by contacting support.

The Weekly plan may include a 3-day free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the trial converts automatically into the paid subscription and you will be charged the price shown at purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase another plan.

The Lifetime option is a one-time, non-renewing purchase — it is not a subscription, nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel. Lifetime purchases made in the App are covered by Apple's standard refund process for App Store purchases.

Purchases made in the App are billed by Apple through In-App Purchase. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings, and Apple handles billing and refunds for those purchases under its own terms. Purchases made on the getholosnap.com website are billed by Stripe and are managed or cancelled from the subscription portal in the app (Profile > Manage Subscription) or by contacting support@getholosnap.com. For web purchases, consumers in the UK, the EU, and other jurisdictions with statutory withdrawal rights (such as the 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content, subject to any consent you give at checkout to immediate access) retain those rights; refund requests for web purchases can be sent to support@getholosnap.com. If a subscription price changes, we will give you advance notice in accordance with the rules of the platform you purchased through, and where those rules require it, the change will not apply until you have had an opportunity to act on the notice.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CARD MATCHES OR PRICES WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any financial loss based on prices, card identifications, or other data shown in the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or if continued operation becomes commercially infeasible. You may stop using the App at any time.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published at this URL. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you use the App as a consumer, nothing in this section deprives you of any protection you are entitled to under the mandatory laws of the country where you live. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will stay in full effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Elemental Ridge Ltd. regarding the App and the getholosnap.com website.
